Cusco, Lake Titicaca. Today set out for the city of Puno, a picturesque hillside city situated on the south-eastern shores of Lake Titicaca. Along the way, stop for a visit to the town of Andahuaylillas, known for its lavishly decorated Baroque church dedicated to Saint Peter the Apostle, widely recognised as the 'Sistine Chapel of America'. You'll also stop for a hearty buffet lunch. On arrival in Puno, this evening is at your leisure. Stay (Two Nights): Puno, Casa Andina Private Collection. BL Day 10. Lake Titicaca. Set on the border of Peru and Bolivia, Lake Titicaca is the highest altitude lake in the world. Like a Local – cruise on Lake Titicaca to the man-made reed islands of the Uros people. On this remarkable trip, you'll enjoy an insight into the Uros' unique way of life and experience the spectacular scenery that characterises the region. Before enjoying this evening at your hotel, why not spend free time in the afternoon relaxing or conversing with locals, whilst people watching at a café. BD Day 11. Lake Titicaca, Colca Canyon. Journey from Puno to Chivay, a gateway village to the Colca Canyon. Here, stop to explore the local market and enjoy lunch, then head to your lodge, perched at the bottom of the valley next to the Colca River. The lodge's natural mineral baths provide the ideal place to relax against the stunning backdrop of the terraced valley. Stay (Two Nights): Colca Canyon, Colca Lodge. BL Day 12. Colca Canyon. Travel to the Mirador Cruz del Condor viewpoint, in the heart of the Colca Canyon. Here, enjoy unparalleled views of the world's deepest canyon, its floor sitting some 1,200 metres below ground. Afterwards, visit some of the picturesque towns that are located in the valley, and spend time at leisure to relax. B Day 13. Arequipa. Head to Arequipa and embark on a city tour upon arrival. Known as the 'White City' for its many heritage buildings made of white volcanic material, visit the historic World Heritage-listed town centre. Here, take in the fascinating colonial architecture, including the famous Santa Catalina Convent. Later, head to the Yanahuara viewpoint to take in the superb views of the city set against the backdrop of El Misti, one of the region's largest snow-capped volcanoes. The rest of the afternoon is then yours to spend at your leisure. Stay: Casa Andina Select Arequipa. B Day 14. Arequipa, Lima. Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before you transfer to the airport for your flight onwards to Lima. Here, a guided tour takes you to a variety of beautiful historic buildings and temples. A Taste of Lima – dine at Café del Museo, set within the Larco Museum – a privately owned museum of pre-Columbian art. Stay: Lima, Hotel Jose Antonio Bellavista. BD Day 15. Depart Lima. Your journey ends today as you're transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
