Rising 396 metres above the harbour, the bornhardt mountain rests on the mouth of Guanabara Bay. A Taste of Rio de Janeiro – head to a local restaurant to enjoy a Brazilian BBQ. Head to Corcovado Mountain and visit the statue of Christ the Redeemer at the peak, absorbing the views from the top. The rest of the day is then yours at leisure. Fly from Rio de Janeiro to Iguassu Falls, a system of 275 falls on the border of Argentina and Brazil. Experience the majesty on the Brazilian side, of the World Heritage-listed Iguassu National Park with a half-day tour. Walk through the subtropical rainforest and take in breathtaking panoramic views of the falls. Stay (Two Nights): Iguassu Falls, Mercure Iguazu. BD Day 15. Iguassu Falls. On the Argentinian side of the falls, ride the Rainforest Ecological Train to a series of walkways and viewing points, including one that leads to the 82-metre-high Devil's Throat, one of the most spectacular falls of the region. Today is yours to explore before flying to Lima to commence your Peruvian adventure.
