63 Day 14. Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu. Like a Local – ride the Vistadome train to World Heritage-listed Machu Picchu. Stay: Aguas Calientes, El MaPi Hotel. BD Day 15. Machu Picchu, Cusco. Perhaps revisit Machu Picchu, then journey back to Cusco. Tonight enjoy dinner and a traditional Peruvian folklore show. Special Stay – Palacio del Inka. Stay (Two Nights): Cusco, Palacio del Inka (a Luxury Collection Hotel). BD Day 16. Cusco. Today, enjoy a city tour of the city of Cusco. B Day 17. Cusco, La Paz, Uyuni. Fly to Uyuni, via La Paz. On arrival, enjoy a tour of an antique train cemetery. Explore the yard of abandoned locomotives that have now eroded and rusted in the harsh Bolivian weather. Special Stay – Tonight, relax at Hotel de Sal Luna Salada, built entirely of salt blocks. Stay: Uyuni, Luna Salada Salt Hotel. BD Day 18. Uyuni, Siloli. This morning, you'll leave Uyuni by 4WD and travel to Colchani to see how salt is processed. Take a guided tour of the only facility in Colchani using salt from the Salar de Uyuni. Your sightseeing continues as you make your way to Siloli. Stopping at the Arbol de Piedra (Stone Tree), a volcanic rock formation in the Desierto Siloli, marvel at what simple elements like wind, sand and water can sculpt out of the earth. On arrival, tonight is yours at leisure. Stay: Siloli, Hotel Tayka del Desierto. B Day 19. Siloli, San Pedro de Atacama. Head to Bolivia's highland lagoons and gaze at the vibrant, shimmering colours of the shallow salt lakes. Here, reality seems more like a fantasy as this reflective playground is a veritable dreamland for any photographer. Stop to appreciate the blood-red Laguna Colorada and emerald-green Laguna Verde. Bathe in the rich landscape of rock and salt deposits and watch in awe as a wide variety of indigenous birds make an unlikely natural paradise. Continue onwards to San Pedro de Atacama in the afternoon, before checking into your hotel. Stay (Two Nights): San Pedro de Atacama, Noi Casa Atacama. B Day 20. San Pedro de Atacama. With the morning free, enjoy breakfast before either relaxing or exploring downtown. In the afternoon, watch the fading light change colour over the mountains. Like a Local – experience ayour final sunset at Moon Valley. As the sun slowly sinks below the horizon, enjoy the majesty and grandeur of this otherworldly wonder as you re-live the experiences of your tour. Afterwards, enjoy a Farewell Dinner. BD Day 21. Depart San Pedro de Atacama. After breakfast, you'll transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
