Our Ships Announcements Updates Fun Facts Top 3 at Sea Celebrating 175 Years of Cruising online Our new 175 Years of Cruising website is now live and we're thrilled to read the stories passengers have already shared. Our favourite so far comes from Amanda Ketteridge, who first cruised as a seasick six-year-old back in 1963 and waited almost 50 years before joining us for a second cruise: "I remember our cabin had no windows and no bathroom. I was incredibly seasick as we went through the tail end of a cyclone. I was bed ridden, had injections every day and lived on a diet of plain bread rolls … On 1st April 2012, I went on another P&O cruise … I would have to say the accommodation was a lot more luxurious this time around … this time no one suffered from seasickness. The food was great—I did not have to live on a diet of bread rolls but was tempted by the wide variety of delicious food onboard … A highlight for all of us was swimming at Lifou in the beautiful clear with wild green turtles ... truly amazing!" , warm water We're glad Amanda enjoyed her cruise the second time around and we loved her 'Now and Then' pictures. You can read the rest of Amanda's story and many more on the website. And if you have a cruising tale to share, we want to hear it! Sail Away is sailing away In an effort to bring you more of what you want (and to save a tree or two) we will no longer be providing Sail Away magazine as a print edition as of 2013. Instead we'll be focusing on sending you more personalised cruising info that is tailored to your tastes. More details will be included in the next—and last— edition of Sail Away, but for now, be sure to provide us with your email details so that we can keep you up to date with the latest P&O Cruises news and information. At pocruises.com.au/sail-away-centre, you can update your details. If you haven't already registered, you'll need to do so by providing your name, contact details, date of birth and address (as they appear on your last cruise booking). Please accept our apology to start browsing stories and add your own!
