A legacy to the Auckland SPCA is a very special last act of kindness, which is why we
have established a unique way of saying thank you during the lifetime of the donor – we
call it the Circle. Pledging an amount in a will to SPCA Auckland automatically guarantees
membership to the Circle with many privileges including special events, assistance
with remaining animals, our unique senior foster programme, and a 'living memorial' to
acknowledge all those in perpetuity who have provided funds though their will.
Legacies save the lives of one in every two animals received at SPCA Auckland, which
represents thousands every year. Legacies are not all about death, they are life driven and
only death activated, every one of them making a meaningful contribution to the important
charitable work we undertake for the animals.
