FAIRY TALE IN THE MODERN ERA A new take on the fairy tale classic 'sleeping beauty', sees models falling asleep in an art gallery waiting for true loves kiss. The exhibit is interactive; five attractive, single young women take turns falling asleep under dim lights in Kiev's top gallery The National Art Museum. The models are each under a (not legally binding) pledge to marry the visitor who wakes her with a kiss. Any un-married museum goer is able to kiss the woman in the hope of awaking them. The Ukrainian- Canadian artist, Taras Polataiko's goal of the exhibit is to "recreate the famous fairy tale and witness the birth of love." Only one of the models has awoken so far to the kiss of a woman. Source: Daily Star In the pink GET IN STYLE WANT TO SMILE LIKE JULIA ROBERTS? To reduce these issues we have a few tips. 1. Keep your nails short with clippers, the imperfections will be less evident in short nails. 2. Don't cut your cuticles, use creams or gels and gently push your cuticles back and massage cuticle cream into your hand each day. 3. Don't bite your nails or cuticles. If you are struggling to stop, wear thin white cotton gloves around the house to help break the habit. 4. To avoid infections, wear gloves when doing household activities and don't use acrylics or nail wraps. 5. Wear nail polish to keep nails strong (and looking good). To remove the polish, use non-acetone-based remover to prevent drying out. Source: Breastcancer.org There is no reason to pay for fancy face masks when you already have the ingredients at home! It is easy to make simple hydrating masks and scrubs that balance out any skin type. For a moisturising and soothing facemask, a concoction using eggs is recommended. Separate the egg whites from two eggs and place them in a bowl with two tablespoons of plain yogurt. Mix together and apply to face, leave on for eight minutes then rinse with warm water. For a scrub use brown sugar, a brilliant natural exfoliate. Combine a tablespoon of brown sugar with a teaspoon of olive or coconut oil. Massage the mixture into your skin in a circular motion for three minutes then rinse with warm water. To brighten, calm breakouts, and soften the appearance of fine lines and sun damage, pumpkin is the way to go. Puree half a cup of fresh pumpkin pulp into a paste, add one egg , two teaspoons of almond milk and one teaspoon of honey. Mix well and apply the mask for 15-20 minutes then rinse with cool water.
