04: editorsmessage I love producing Pink, it is truly a highlight of my year. It is the one tangible thing that I can do that I believe will truly make a difference to those who are unfortunate enough to traverse / facing the challenging journey of breast cancer. We are all involved in and with breast cancer because it is so prevalent in our communities and lives. Our strength will always be in supporting each other, and we watch as the world continues I to produce breakthroughs in our knowledge about its causes and the importance of health promotion and prevention. There has been so much positive progress in global research but unfortunately this can be accompanied by frustrations closer to home with regards waiting times, drugs dispensing and treatment. However, while we live in changing and testing times, we can embrace the benefits of digital communication. If you have cancer or are close to someone who has, then I am certain you will have been busy researching treatment options and advice online, joining conversations or chat rooms, watching videos and blogging, or leaving comments on someone's else's blog. If you haven't already done so, I urge you to get online, make friends, participate and share. This year the internet will be
