women's lifestyle expo HOT SHOTS { THE NATIONWIDE WOMEN'S LIFESTYLE EXPOS have become very popular because of the mix of companies involved. Small business owners who work from home exhibit beside international brands like Suzuki. With the majority of Expo's averaging at least 160 exhibitors, the Expo appeals to all ages and types of women because there really is something for everyone. Two companies gaining success from exhibiting at the Expos are Whitehot Jewellery and SHOTT Beverages. WHITEHOT JEWELLERY Relatively new to the Women's Lifestyle Expo, but quickly becoming a regular client, is Whitehot Jewellery. Owner Sharron LeRiche started the business in early 2011 in Christchurch, just prior to the February 22nd earthquake. Sharron says, "There were obviously delays in our launch, but through all the turmoil we remained positive about the opportunities for the future. We felt that the idea of boutique shopping at home was a great way for women to connect with friends, enjoy a fun and social time and receive personal service whilst trying on the latest in fashion jewellery trends." Sharron finds the Women's Lifestyle Expo a great marketing tool for her. "As we look to showcase our jewellery collections, party host and business opportunities to a diverse range of women around New Zealand, we find the Expos are a perfect forum .The organisation and marketing is excellent and we always attend knowing confidently that we will be meet many wonderful women interested in what we have to offer. " Whitehot Jewellery is for any woman who loves to look good and feel good. We offer a fabulous range of fashion jewellery from contemporary designs through to the latest seasonal trends at a reasonable price. Sharron can see a future marketing her company through the Expo's. "As we look to expand our network of sales representatives and party hosts to more areas in New Zealand, we will continue to support the Women's Lifestyle Expos as this offers us the best opportunity to get our 'Word of Mouth' marketing to a wider audience." 64 | www.hermagazine.co.nz SHOTT With the inclusion of the new 'Taste Zone', the Women's Lifestyle Expos have attracted even more beverage and food orientated exhibitors. SHOTT Beverages did their first Expo in late 2011 in Christchurch and quickly saw the benefit of exhibiting. SHOTT was set up in 2007 by Tami Louisson and business partner, Richard Plimmer, who both had experience in the juice industry and felt no one was producing high quality concentrates that fully exploited the intense flavours of New Zealand fruit. They set up SHOTT with that point of difference at the front and centre of everything they do. SHOTT is now the No.1 brand in the cafe trade and a nationally recognised retail consumer brand. Their main line is hot fruit drinks led by their hero Lemon Ginger & Honey, backed by Spiced Berry and Honey Blackcurrant. They also sell fruit syrups and make a range of coffee syrups and smoothie concentrates for the food service industry. SHOTT enjoy being an exhibitor at the Women's Lifestyle Expo because they like the ability to engage with people on the hunt for new experiences. "Lots of people have seen and heard of SHOTT but the Expos give them a chance to taste our products. When they taste they go "Wow," and are invariably sold. Lots of men love SHOTT, but women tend to instigate. It absolutely hits our target audience - women with their shopping boots on, out to have fun and try something new."
