83 FRANCE Day 9. Tours, Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux. Travel through the famous Bordeaux wine region to Saint-Émilion. Delight in a visit to a local wine cellar where you'll sample some of the exceptional red wine of Saint-Émilion, then continue to the majestic city of Bordeaux. Two Night Stay: Bordeaux, Hotel Burdigala. BD Day 10. Bordeaux, Arcachon, Cap Ferret. Today you'll travel to the seaside township of Arcachon. From here, a boat will take you to the stylish port town of Cap Ferret. Enjoy views of Europe's highest sand dune, Dune du Pilat, as you dine on local seafood for lunch. BL Day 11. Bordeaux, Sarlat, Toulouse. Stop in the medieval city of Sarlat and explore the narrow streets of the Old Town, before continuing to La Roque-Gageac. An enchanting cruise here along the Dordogne River offers stunning views of the village's stretch of golden stone buildings. After, continue on to Toulouse. Stay: Pullman Toulouse Centre. BD Day 12. Toulouse, Carcassonne. A morning tour provides you with the chance to explore the city of Toulouse, nicknamed 'La Ville Rose' (the Pink City). Your journey then takes you to Carcassonne.
