82 Day 1. Arrive Paris. Be transferred to your hotel before a Welcome Reception tonight. Three Night Stay: Paris, Hotel du Collectionneur Arc de Triomphe. Day 2. Paris. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the French capital today, including a trip to the second level of the Eiffel Tower. This evening, enjoy a meal and a spectacular show at the resplendent Moulin Rouge. BD Day 3. Paris, Freedom of Choice. This morning, perhaps treat your tastebuds to a selection of Parisian delicacies during a culinary walking tour. Alternatively, wander through The Louvre and admire the impressive art collections on a guided tour. Or you may prefer to soak up the village atmosphere in Montmartre. B Day 4. Paris, Giverny, Bayeux. Leaving Paris this morning, travel to Giverny, home of Claude Monet. Here, visit Monet's house and gardens. As you wander through the gardens, you'll see the water garden with its Japanese Bridge and water lilies which inspired some of Monet's most famous paintings. You'll then journey to the village of Beuvron en Auge to sample a selection of the renowned regional produce, including specialty cheese and cider. Later, continue to Bayeux. Stay: Bayeux, Château La Cheneviere. BD Day 5. Bayeux, Normandy Beaches, Saint-Malo. This morning, visit the incredible 70 metre-long Bayeux Tapestry. Then, head out into the countryside to explore the D-Day landing beaches along the Normandy coast. Visit the US cemetery of Colleville-sur-Mer, which overlooks Omaha Beach. Later, continue onwards to Saint-Malo. Two Night Stay: Saint-Malo, Grand Hôtel des Thermes. BD Day 6. Saint-Malo, Cancale, Mont Saint-Michel. Travel to Cancale, a lovely fishing village which has been synonymous with oysters since ancient times. Here, learn how these famous molluscs are cultivated and enjoy a freshly shucked sample during a visit to an oyster farm. Continue to the small World Heritage-listed island of Mont Saint-Michel for a walking tour, followed by a visit to its incredible hilltop abbey. B Day 7. Saint-Malo, Tours. Travel into the heart of the Loire Valley to explore Château d'Azay-le-Rideau and the gardens of Villandry. Two Night Stay: Tours, Clarion Hotel Château Belmont or similar. BD Day 8. Tours, Amboise, Cheverny. Overlooking the Loire Valley in the town of Amboise, the World Heritage-listed Royal Château of Amboise offers a unique look into French history.
