84 Day 1. Arrive Rome. Be met on arrival and be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a Welcome Reception tonight. Three Night Stay: Rome, Hotel Bernini Bristol. Day 2. Rome. This morning, your guide will take you for an in-depth discovery of Vatican City, where you'll see Michelangelo's renowned artwork in the Sistine Chapel and explore the fascinating Vatican Museum. Set out on a city tour later, visiting some of the city's famous sights, including the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain and more. Enjoy a Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant this evening. BD Day 3. Rome, Freedom of Choice. Today, perhaps tour a selection of Rome's catacombs. Or, join a culinary walking tour. B Day 4. Rome, San Gimignano, Florence. Travel to the medieval walled town of San Gimignano. Later, over a light lunch, you'll taste locally-made olive oils, delicious antipasti and regional wines. Afterwards, continue your journey to the city of Florence. Two Night Stay: Florence, Grand Hotel Villa Medici. BL Day 5. Florence. Today, pay a visit to the Galleria dell'Accadamia, where exhibits include Michelangelo's famed statue of David. You'll then explore Florence on a guided tour. BD Day 6. Florence, Pisa, Nice. Stop in Pisa to see the iconic Leaning Tower. Arrive later in Nice on the southern coast of France. Two Night Stay: Nice, Le Negresco Hotel. BD Day 7. Nice, Monte Carlo. Take in Nice's rich heritage on a guided tour, then head to Monte Carlo. On a walking tour, visit the Prince's Palace of Monaco, and venture into the lavish State Apartments. B Day 8. Nice, Cannes, Aix-en-Provence. Travel to Cannes for a walking tour then continue to Aix-en-Provence, famous as the home of French artist Cézanne. On arrival, enjoy a walking tour before dinner this evening. Two Night Stay: Renaissance Aix-en-Provence Hotel. BD Day 9. Aix-en-Provence, Roussillon. Visit the Abbey of Sénanque, surrounded by vast lavender farms. Later, discover the ochre town of Roussillon. B Day 10. Aix-en-Provence, Camargue, Arles, Embark Ship. 10 day Land only (EULIF10) guests depart the tour this morning and transfer to Marseilles airport.
