Coober Pedy, Marree. This morning after breakfast, journey along the iconic Oodnadatta Track, where we will make a stop at William Creek for lunch. Be sure to keep an eye out for the 5,600-kilometre Dog Fence. You will also have the option to board an included scenic flight over the awe-inspiring Kati Thanda–Lake Eyre, where you will gain a bird's-eye view and true appreciation of this magnificent sight (own expense). Afterwards, take a tour to the edge of Lake Eyre, where you'll be able to walk on the dazzling salt flats. Later, arrive at Marree and stay at your historic hotel that dates back to 1883. Stay: Marree Hotel. BLD Day 13. Marree, Flinders Ranges. Depart Marree for the Flinders Ranges. Enter Flinders Ranges National Park, a cultural, historical and geological wonder renowned for its spectacular 800-million-year-old landscapes. Within the park, the famous Wilpena Pound (Ikara), is cradled within an amphitheatre of mountains. Set amongst river red gums and native pines, Ikara Safari Camp is the perfect base for exploring Wilpena Pound National Park. This is the ultimate wilderness experience, with a few of life's modern luxuries included, allowing you to stay surrounded by sprawling bushland. Two Night Stay: Wilpena Pound, Ikara Safari Camp. BLD Day 14. Flinders Ranges. Today you will have a full day to explore the incredible Flinders Ranges National Park. Commence the day with a scenic drive of Bunyeroo Valley, one of the main gorges which runs through the Heysen Range towards Lake Torrens. The drive offers sensational views of the range, as well as the chance to spot some kangaroos and euros. Afterwards, spend the morning in the geological site of Brachina Gorge. Keep an eye out for the endangered Yellow-footed Rock-wallaby as you traverse the gorge's layers, dating back some 130 million years. After lunch, the afternoon is at your leisure to further explore, or perhaps enoy some time to relax. This evening, enjoy dinner back at your resort. BLD Day 15. Flinders Ranges, Clare Valley, Adelaide. After a tantalising breakfast, farewell the Flinders Rangers as you make your way through the wine growing district of the Clare Valley as you return to Adelaide. This evening, say goodbye to newfound friends and your Driver-Guide during a delicious Farewell Dinner at your hotel. Stay: Adelaide, The Playford Hotel. BLD Day 16. Depart Adelaide. Your amazing adventure draws to a close. After breakfast, you will be transferred to Adelaide airport for your onward flight.
