D Day 2. Adelaide, Kangaroo Island. This morning, travel to Cape Jervis, were you will board the ferry to Kangaroo Island. Renowned for its fantastic local produce and unique wildlife, enjoy an incredible two-night stay here. Savour a delicious lunch at Dudley Wines Cellar Door with dramatic coastal views, before sampling some locally-made honey at Cliffords Honey Farm. Later, arrive at your hotel, where you will enjoy a tantalising dinner. Two Night Stay: Kangaroo Island, Aurora Ozone Hotel. BLD Day 3. Kangaroo Island. Today is all about exploring the wildlife and landscapes of Kangaroo Island. Visit Flinders Chase National Park. Here, see the Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch and a colony of New Zealand fur-seals. Afterwards, enjoy a 2-course lunch showcasing the fine local produce at Kangaroo Island Wilderness Lodge, then continue your exploration of Kangaroo Island at Seal Bay Conservation Park, the only place in the world to get up close to the Australia sea lion. Nearly hunted to extinction in the 19th century, the park is dedicated to protecting this rare species. Later, return to your hotel for a seafood dinner. BLD Day 4. Kangaroo Island, Port Wakefield, Wadlata Outback Centre, Port Augusta. Depart Kangaroo Island as you board the ferry from Penneshaw, returning to Cape Jervis. Journey north to Port Wakefield in the Adelaide Plains. Admire the lush mangroves and wildlife, then see the Heritage Courthouse Museum. Continue to Port Augusta and visit the award- winning Wadlata Outback Centre. A walk through its 'Tunnel of Time' provides the perfect introduction to this region.
