After a delicious breakfast this morning, travel south, stopping at the famous Eighty Mile Beach, a spectacular coastline that marks the end of the Great Sandy Desert. Travel to Marble Bar, infamously known as the hottest town in Australia. The name Marble Bar was derived from a nearby jasper bar mistaken for Marble, which runs across the bed of the Coongan River. Explore the Pilbara mining region as you take a tour of BHP Billiton's Mt Whaleback Mine, the world's largest open cut iron ore mine. Get up close with the massive 200 ton Wabco Ore Truck and hear the latest up-to-date information about the current mining projects.
