boulders are scattered along the edge

River Heritage Lodge is positioned in one
of the largest polar bear denning areas in
the world. The rustic eco-lodge is
operated by Churchill Wild – the Arctic
Circle region's polar bear adventure
touring experts. With its unrivalled
location, nature trails and a range of
options for exploration by water and
on land, there's no better place to spot
polar bears. You're also on the lookout
for other wildlife like caribou, wolves,
moose, red and Arctic foxes. Not to
mention the smiling beluga whales that
gather in their thousands in the nearby
Seal River estuary in summer.
