Continue on through the Qutang Gorge, the shortest, narrowest, and most dramatic gorge. (B, L, D) DAY 10: YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE Take a shore excursion to Fengdu, the Ghost City, and walk through the town, observing statues of ghosts and devils on Mingshan Hill. Visit the new relocation village, built for families who have moved as a result of the rising water levels, resulting from the Three Gorges Dam. (B, L, D) DAY 11: DISEMBARK CRUISE – CHONGQING TO GUILIN Disembark from your cruise vessel and visit the Panda House at Chongqing Zoo. Fly to the surrealistic city of Guilin. (B, L, D) DAY 12: GUILIN TO YANGSHUO Cruise the stunning Li River to Yangshuo and witness the breathtaking landscape of spectacular limestone hills, tranquil fishing scenes, and picturesque villages. Explore this small mountain town, stroll the colorful markets, and people watch at an outdoor café. (B, L, D) DAY 13: YANGSHUO This morning, discover the pretty hills and local farms of the rural countryside around Yangshuo. The afternoon is at leisure. Meet again this evening for a display of traditional cormorant fishing. (B, L, D) DAY 14: YANGSHUO TO SHANGHAI This morning, drive to Guilin Airport for your flight to the cosmopolitan city of Shanghai, also known as the Paris of the East. See the superb antiques and fine arts of the Shanghai Museum, wander around People's Square, and, in the evening, enjoy traditional Shanghai cuisine. (B, L, D) DAY 15: SHANGHAI Sightseeing today includes a stroll through the beautiful Yu Gardens, the Old Town, and the famous colonial Bund. See the modern Pudong area and the restored Xintiandi area, featuring 1920s-style shikumen buildings. In the evening, enjoy a cruise on the panoramic Huangpu River, where the historic Bund and the futuristic Pudong meet.
