Since 1972, Massey University has produced more MBA graduates than any other university in New Zealand.
Running a business without an MBA is the same as driving a car without a roadmap, according to Julie-Ann Bell.
"I was at a point in my life where I had to make a decision, get another business or get an education. Now I wish I had done an MBA years ago – I'm very proud to have one."
Julie-Ann was not content with just studying and with an avid eye for investment purchased the iconic Parnell restaurant Iguacu that had fallen on lean times. She had done her homework, identifying Iguacu had potential and would respond to being managed with a more strategic approach. The numerous awards and accolades subsequently achieved by the restaurant is testimony to a winning combination.
"You've got to be prepared to work, but if you apply what you are learning with your MBA to redefining a business you'll enjoy every minute."
Julie-Ann Bell, MBA (distinction) PROPRIETOR, IGUACU
