EXPLORE THE ANCIENT
TA PROHM TEMPLE
Step into the world of lost cities and ancient
mystery at Cambodia's Ta Prohm, the cinematic
temple cloaked in jungle vines. Unlike
Angkor Wat's grandeur, Ta Prohm is intimate,
overgrown, and utterly mesmerising. Founded
as a Buddhist monastery during the late 12th
and early 13th centuries, this photogenic
site has been left largely untouched since its
discovery. As you walk beneath massive tree
roots and crumbling stone archways, it is easy to
see why Tomb Raider was filmed here.
PEER INTO THE HEART OF AN
ACTIVE VOLCANO
In 79 AD Mount Vesuvius erupted, burying the
Roman cities of Pompeii, Herculaneum and
Stabiae under a thick layer of volcanic ash and
pumice, preserving them for centuries. Embark
on an exhilarating journey to the crater rim of
this famous volcano, still active to this day. Your
custom-built 4x4 vehicle will take you into the
surrounding national park, climbing the
pine-forested slopes to 104 metres above
sea level. It is from here you will continue to
explore parts of the caldera on foot. As you
reach the rim, peer into the vast crater and take
in sweeping views of the Bay of Naples, where
nature's raw power and ancient history collide.
