OUR NEWEST SHIP FOR THE MISSISSIPPI
Viking has celebrated a major construction milestone with the
float out of the new custom-built Viking Mississippi. Set to debut
in June 2022 the ship will sail Viking's highly anticipated voyages
on the Lower and Upper Mississippi River, between New Orleans
and St. Paul. The five-deck vessel with cutting-edge design,
expansive windows and comfortable amenities will make it the
largest and most modern ship in the region.
VIKING EXPEDITIONS SETS SAIL
We have reimagined expedition voyages for true
explorers to facilitate exploration and scientific
discovery. Purpose-built for expeditions, Viking
Octantis provides superior handling, comfort and
stability in the roughest seas. With the launch of
Viking Expeditions, we are now taking intrepid
explorers to the world's most remote destinations
including Antarctica and North America's Great
Lakes. Marvels of technology, our vessels merge
comfort and exploration in an unprecedented way.
TWO VIKING SHIPS IN
AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND
FOR 2022/23
We are excited to announce that for the
first time, two of our award-winning
ocean ships Viking Orion and our newest
vessel Viking Mars will operate in local
waters for the 2022-2023 Australia and
New Zealand cruise season. With more
opportunity and departure dates than
ever before, there's never been a better
time to explore closer to home.
