Thunder Jet 3 is self-draining and positive buoyant with seven sealed independent buoyancy compartments and specialised passenger seating arrangement with all round cushioning. It also contains a tough durable roll-bar or arch exceeding Maritime New Zealand safety and tumble crush requirements, sturdy handholds, comfortable feet braces and a range of top of the line safety equipment from collapsible oars and boat hook, as well as LED navigation lights, flares, anchor, throw bag and first aid. A VHF marine radio with alloy flames as speaker covers. The added specialised features include a driver's compartment that has been modified somewhat by the Thunder Jet drivers, offering comfort, usability, uniqueness in instrumentation and driver's position layout. The driver's seat has been manufactured and especially designed to handle the rough days on the lake, with an added lift up/down armrest to assist in sideways stability to the driver against "G" forces, along with a handy glove compartment. Next to the driver's seat is a built-in stowage area for the excess of bow line, doubling as a driver's drink holder for the busy days. The wheel is lightweight with an alloy shine. Thunder Jet 3 contains a state of the art sound system, pumped up via 2x2000w amplifiers and played extremely loudly through 11 10x6 inch speakers.
