Vancouver. On arrival at Vancouver Airport, you'll be met and transferred to your hotel. D THE REMOTE Kenai PENINSULA Known as 'Alaska's Playground', the vast Kenai Peninsula juts out from the southern coast of Alaska and contains the kind of wilderness so remote it's sure to stir the soul. With landscapes that range from mountains, icefields and glaciers to rivers, lakes and forest, it's home to an array of native flora and fauna, including bears, whales, seals, moose and mountain goats – among other creatures. During this unique holiday, you'll have the privilege of staying at the rustic Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge in Cooper Landing – an ideal gateway from which to explore the peninsula. After breakfast today select from a number of unique activities. Perhaps visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park; take a guided tour of the Granville Island Public Market; take a city tour; enjoy a Coast Rainforest Adventure in Stanley Park; go on a Gastown Neighbourhood Shopping Tour; or explore Stanley Park by bicycle. Afterwards, the evening is yours at leisure. B ROCKY MOUNTAINEER RAIL JOURNEY Day 3. Kamloops. Today you'll board the famous Rocky Mountaineer and relax in the comfort of your GoldLeaf carriage as you set out into the mountains aboard one of the only passenger trains that covers this historic and awe-inspiring route. View the towering peaks of the Coast Mountains; pass the thundering waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon; and glide past the steep rocky slopes as your train follows the Thompson River heading for the city of Kamloops. Stay: Kamloops, hotel as assigned by Rocky Mountaineer (Kamloops has limited accommodation – two or three-star hotels). BL Day 4. Mount Robson, Jasper. Your rail adventure continues towards the Canadian Rockies today. Follow the North Thompson River through the Monashee Mountains and past Pyramid Creek Falls. Take in the sight of Mount Robson – the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies – before reaching Jasper National Park, where your rail journey ends. Two Night Stay: Jasper National Park, The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. BL CANADA'S AWE-INSPIRING ROCKIES Day 5. Jasper, Freedom of Choice Sightseeing & Dining. This morning, perhaps take a Harley Davidson Motorcycle Sidecar Tour; embark on a Maligne Valley Wildlife Experience; go rafting down the Athabasca River; or ride the Jasper Tramway for stunning views of the park. Alternatively, you may choose to set out on an Interpretive Nature Hike. Tonight, dine at one of restaurants located within your lodge. BD Day 6. Athabasca Glacier, Lake Louise, Freedom of Choice Dining. Today join the Icefields Parkway, which winds through the Canadian Rockies past the glaciers, icefields, valleys and lakes that straddle the Continental Divide. After pausing to take in Maligne Canyon and Athabasca Falls, stop at the Columbia Icefield. Here, board an Ice Explorer and journey right onto Athabasca Glacier. Then continue to Lake Louise and tonight, dine at one of the restaurants located within your hotel. Stay: Banff National Park, The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. BD
