Here an iconic stage concert and radio broadcast is held each week, showcasing the biggest stars of country music. On air since 1925, The Grand Ole Opry is among the longest-running radio broadcasts in history. After a tour, visit The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, which preserves the ever-evolving history and traditions of country music. This evening, head to a nearby bar and restaurant for an authentic Country & Western Dinner Experience. BD Day 3. Nashville, Franklin, Memphis. Following a morning at leisure, travel by coach via the uniquely Southern town of Franklin to the city of Memphis, located near the confluence of the Wolf River and the Mississippi. Settle in to your hotel, where you may be fortunate enough to see the famous Peabody Duck March in the lobby. Then, with the rest of the day at leisure, perhaps step out and familiarise yourself with the city know to many as the home of rock'n'roll. Stay: The Peabody Memphis. BD Day 4. Memphis, Embark Mississippi River Cruise. Take in the sights of Memphis during a guided city sightseeing tour this morning. Afterwards, board your luxury small-ship paddlewheeler for the start of your cruise along one of America's most famous waterways – the Mississippi. After lunch on board, travel by coach to Graceland – the iconic former home of Elvis Presley and today a National Historic Landmark. This evening, head for your ship's Dining Room and enjoy a delectable Welcome Dinner. Seven Night Cruise: Queen of the Mississippi – stay in a spacious Twin Window Stateroom. LD B Day 5. Cruising the Mississippi River. Take advantage of a full day on the river today, passing the sights of Arkansas on your right and Mississippi on your left as you glide along the lower Mississippi River. You might like to take part in some of the many activities, lectures and presentations being run, or simply relax in one of your ship's comfortable public areas. BLD Day 6. Vicksburg. As the site of a famous 47-day siege during the American Civil War, this morning's port of call – Vicksburg, Mississippi – is simply bursting with history. On disembarking here today, explore the Vicksburg National Military Park, which commemorates the campaign, siege and defence of Vicksburg in 1863. Take a narrated coach tour of the battlefields then drop in to the visitor centre. Later, return to your ship and continue cruising towards Natchez. BLD
