The client gave just an overview of what he wanted and what he expected the various boats to be able to do, then he left it to the builder to come up with the best design and build concept for operational needs and budget. So Carl took a range of ideas to these two respected local designers who he had worked with before. The brief was for a multi-role, alloy power cat. This changed to two cats shortly after construction started: one propeller driven, the other with Hamilton water jets.
