In March this year, we were thrilled to welcome
seven brand-new additions to the Viking river fleet
during a naming ceremony in Basel, Switzerland.
In true Viking tradition, a bottle of Gammel Opland
aquavit was broken on the bow of each new ship
— a nod to our Norwegian heritage.
