Do's
• Be yourself. 'Professional' does not mean boring.
It means being well groomed. Dress with your own personal flare and
don't live in black!
• Purchase garments that multi task. For example, buy one great jacket
that marries up to three complimentary garments… skirt, dress and
trousers.
• Wear fabrics that don't need ironing so that when you leave your desk
you don't have a crumpled backside.
• Dresses with a sleeve (either capped or ¾) are your best friend. Not
only do they keep your look feminine but they are a 'one garment' entire
outfit that you can wear all year round.
• Keep accessories (i.e. flower brooches, beads, bracelets) in your desk
drawer for the times you need an instant colour pick me up.
