Claudia Batten (@claudiabatten) is a regular contributor to Her Magazine and has had 2 successful exits in the digital media space. Currently on a self-imposed sabbatical, Claudia is planning her next business venture from her base in Colorado. Tee Twyford (@teetwyford) currently runs Tommy Hilfiger's social media strategy from their global headquarters in Amsterdam. She previously managed online magazine nzgirl and appeared on TVNZ's Breakfast as Gadget Girl. They co-wrote this interview via a Google Hangout. 3 4 6 8 9 1 2 never draft a tweet before I send it and often reference hashtags in everyday conversation; seldom email, it's is archaic as faxing; typically am signed up for a new platform within 5 minutes of hearing about it; have a smartphone pretty constantly glued to my hand. Other than work, most things I do are on my smartphone watch TV on my laptop, iPad or or tablet; through Apple TV; don't notice interruptive advertising: TV ads, banner ads, radio ads. If I hear about a cool ad I will go to youtube to watch it; forget sometimes that my best friend lives five timezones away – timezones and geographical boundaries are meaningless in my digital world; 7 think I am kinda over Facebook but it's still cool to see what the family is up to there; think my short term memory became Google 11 5 10 don't want to wait 2 minutes for a flash experience on your website to load. am physically in one place and digitally somewhere else – most likely checking in, instagramming or tweeting; www.h e rmagaz in e .co.n z | 43
