Port Hedland, The Pilbara, Karratha. On the journey to Karratha this morning, you'll travel over the rocky red landscapes of the Pilbara. Visit the small ghost town of Cossack, as well as the town of Roebourne. On arrival in Karratha, enjoy a brief town tour before dinner. Stay: Ibis Styles Karratha. Day 12. Karratha, Karijini National Park, Tom Price. Travel to the remote and rugged Karijini National Park, filled with sheer gorges, cascading waterfalls and inviting swimming holes. Visit Dale and Fortescue falls and stop to absorb the impressive views over five converging gorges at Oxers Lookout. Later, travel to the remote mining town of Tom Price, deep in the Hamersley Ranges. Stay: Tom Price Hotel. Day 13. Tom Price, Exmouth. Following breakfast today, enjoy a guided tour of the Tom Price Mine. Afterwards, journey through the striking ancient outback landscapes of the Pilbara to the town of Exmouth.
