Arrive Darwin, Welcome Reception. Transfer to your hotel, where you'll join your fellow travellers for a Welcome Reception this evening. Two Night Stay: Crowne Plaza, Darwin. Day 2. National Park Touring Options. After breakfast this morning you will depart on the included tour of your choice. Option 1: Litchfield National Park. Discover this national park's amazing waterfalls, including Florence Falls and Tolmer Falls. Visit Wangi Falls, with its large crystal clear pool, and perhaps take a dip in the cool waters. Return via Litchfield's amazing stand of termite mounds. Option 2: Kakadu National Park. Journey into World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park. At Ubirr, see superbly preserved Aboriginal rock art. Travel along the East Alligator River with an Aboriginal guide on the Guluyambi Cruise, then disembark for a short walk into Arnhem Land. Day 3. Darwin City Sights, Board Ship. Explore Darwin's main sights with a local guide, including the Chinese Temple, Botanic Garden, East Point Military Precinct and the WWII oil storage tunnels. After, visit the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory. Enjoy lunch (own expense) and some free time in Darwin before transferring to the Caledonian Sky. BD 10 Night Cruise: MS Caledonian Sky. Day 4. At Sea. Enjoy your first day at sea as we cruise for the township of Wyndham, our first port of call this afternoon. Throughout the day explore the ship and hear interesting lectures on the area you are sailing and what lies ahead. BLD BL Day 5. East Kimberley Touring Options. Choose your own activity today – all included in the price of your cruise. BLD Option 1: Ord River Cruise. Travel from Wyndham to Kununurra. Board a scenic cruise along the mighty Ord River to Lake Argyle. Visit Durack Homestead and view the lake from the scenic lookout. Includes a buffet lunch. Option 2: El Questro Tour. Visit one of Australia's most renowned station properties. Enjoy a guided walk to Emma Gorge with morning tea, followed by a soak in the thermal pools at Zebedee Springs. Enjoy a wonderful Beef & Barramundi lunch at The Station and an afternoon Bush Culture tour. Option 3: Argyle Diamond Mine Tour. Fly to the famous Argyle Diamond Mine, where you'll enjoy a tour and see examples of the rare pink diamond. Includes a buffet lunch in the miners' mess. Option 4: The Bungle Bungle Range Tour. Take a scenic flight and 4WD guided tour to explore Purnululu National Park. Hike into Cathedral Gorge, walk along Piccaninny Creek, and see the iconic beehive domes. A picnic lunch is included. Day 6. King George Falls. Wake up in Koolama Bay, named after a merchant ship bombed by the Japanese in WWII. Enjoy the 12 km journey through some of the world's most spectacular scenery along the mighty King George River. Millions of years of erosion have created vertical sheer walls that resemble stacks of sandstone. The highlight is sure to be King George Falls, the highest single drop falls in the Kimberley, and your expedition team will get you to the cascading waters.
