Zebedee Springs, Chamberlain Gorge Cruise, Emma Gorge. Today you have the whole day to discover the wonders of El Questro. This morning, walk to beautiful Zebedee Springs then, with a local ranger, enjoy a spectacular cruise on Chamberlain Gorge, a fresh waterway fringed by lush tropical vegetation and rugged red escarpments. Later, hike into Emma Gorge, where you can indulge in a refreshing swim under the droplet waterfall, before returning to your resort for dinner. Day 13. Bell Gorge, Hiking and Swimming. Back on the Gibb River Road, travel to Bell Gorge, where rugged cliffs surround a series of tiered waterfalls. Take a swim below the pretty waterfall. Perhaps go bird watching, or enjoy a hike. BLD Day 9. El Questro, Gibb River Road, Mitchell Plateau. Departing El Questro this morning, we journey along the rugged Gibb River Road. After fording the Pentecost and Durack rivers, we'll climb the Mitchell Plateau to arrive at our exclusive accommodation. Perhaps take a swim in the pristine waterhole nearby or relax in the tranquil surrounds. Two Night Stay: EXCLUSIVE! Stay in tented cabins with private ensuite bathrooms at Mitchell Falls Wilderness Lodge. Day 10. Mitchell Falls, Gwion Art, Helicopter Flight over the Falls. You have a full day to discover the beauty of what's considered Australia's most spectacular waterfalls. When available, local Aboriginal guides will join you to tour this area. Hike to Mitchell Falls, and visit Little Merten and Big Merten Falls. Included is a special helicopter flight over Mitchell Falls back to the vehicle (or, if you prefer, hike back with your guide). Longer flights over this stunning region are available at an additional charge. Day 11. Mitchell Plateau, King Edward River. Today, view the Kimberley's unique Gwion (Bradshaw) art at a rarely seen gallery on the banks of the upper King Edward River. Later, see the ancient Wandjina rock art gallery followed by a refreshing swim at King Edward River Crossing. Stay: Drysdale River Station, Kalumburu Road. BLD Day 12. Barnett River Gorge, Galvans Gorge. Journey to beautiful Barnett River Gorge to see rock art, and perhaps have a swim. Enjoy lunch before travelling to Galvans Gorge, where a short walk leads to a stunning waterhole. Two Night Stay: EXCLUSIVE! Bell Gorge Wilderness Lodge, with private ensuites, Gibb River Road. Day 14. Windjana Gorge, Tunnel Creek, Fitzroy Crossing. Journey to Windjana Gorge where a short walk leads into the gorge. View ancient marine fossils embedded in the gorge walls and perhaps some freshwater crocodiles, who often line the banks of the Lennard River. Nearby at Tunnel Creek National Park, we'll wade through the 750 metre-long tunnel which carves through the Napier Range. Tonight, stay on the banks of the mighty Fitzroy River.
