York, Lake District. After some free time in York this morning, you will continue your journey into the Lake District. BD Day 10. Lake District. Today you will be able to experience the Lake District. It is easy to understand why the Romantic poets of the 19th century resided here, with its picture-perfect vistas of craggy hilltops and glistening lakes are found at every turn.
