Tanzania also boasts the stunning island
of Zanzibar – a stunning paradise of
beaches and blue water. Of course, it's not
all sunbathing and spas. For those who
prefer action, Zanzibar is the perfect place
to try activities including diving, stand up
paddle boarding and more.
SPICE ISLAND HOTEL & RESORT
Located between the villages of Paje
and Jambiani, this hotel boasts
comfortable and stylish bungalow
suites. Each includes air conditioning,
a safe and king-size bed. Dine in the
restaurant, relax in the spa, or perhaps
hire a bicycle to see the island
at a leisurely pace.
A RANGE OF ACTIVITIES
There's no end to the ways you can
spend your time. Stretch out on a beach
bed under an umbrella, take a dip in the
pool, or treat yourself to a massage
in the spa. If you prefer to explore the
island, you might like to go windsurfing,
snorkelling, sailing, wake boarding
or water skiing. Or, pay a visit to historic
Stone Town. On the second day of your
stay, expert guides will lead you on
a Spice Tour, driving you through the
countryside so you can smell and taste
spices and tropical fruit.
