New Orleans This morning you will board Amtrak's City of New Orleans service, heading through Mississippi to Louisiana. It is widely claimed that the Blues spread along this route by rail, and today you will have the chance to follow this iconic route for yourself as the pretty towns of Brookhaven and McComb lead into the exotic Cajun swamps of the Louisiana Bayou. Arrive in New Orleans and transfer to your hotel. Three Nights: Sheraton New Orleans Hotel. Day 10. New Orleans Take a guided tour which provides an introduction to this fascinating city. Then this afternoon, you'll have plenty of free time to explore at your leisure and make your own discovery in one of the world's most iconic cities.
