Whether you join the droves of joggers for a 5.00 a.m. lap of Central Park or concede to attending a comedy club, you'll meet locals and visitors alike in a city that, in 2011, hosted 50 million tourists. Find a hotel in a central location that, at least, will keep your suitcase safe and get out there! On our recent trip in April my husband and I maximised our five days in the city by breaking up attractions into areas, and with the help of comfortable shoes tackled an ambitious agenda.
