This morning you will discover some of the region's history with a visit to Careening Bay, where Phillip Parker King was forced to beach his damaged ship HMC Mermaid in 1820. While here, you will see the Mermaid boab tree. Later, discover Prince Regent Nature Reserve, an important protected area of the Kimberley coastline. Enjoy a picturesque cruise through St George's Basin before a relaxing dinner and evening back on board your cruise ship. BLD Day 20. Montgomery Reef, Doubtful Bay, Raft Point. You will embark on an unforgettable adventure today as the magnificent Montgomery Reef 'rises' out of the ocean as the tidal waters cascade down into the surrounding channels. Board your Zodiac to experience this natural phenomenon up close, and discover the reef's diverse marine life. After this amazing excursion, continue cruising through Doubtful Bay. Travel ashore at Raft Point to visit one of the region's most significant Wandjina art sites, getting an insight into local fascinating ancient history. BLD Day 21. Yampi Sound, Talbot Bay, Horizontal Falls. Cruise through Yampi Sound. It's then on to Talbot Bay, known for its massive 12-metre tides that create an amazing spectacle, the unique Horizontal Falls. Subject to tidal conditions, embark on an exhilarating ride through the falls on a specially designed high powered fast boat. David Attenborough described the phenomenon as "one the greatest natural wonders of the world." You may also see some of the local Tawny Nurse Shark population. Later, take a Zodiac cruise through Cyclone Creek. BLD Day 22. Nares Point, Buccaneer Archipelago, Adele Island. Wake up at Nares Point and en route to Adele Island, cruise the Buccaneer Archipelago, home to more than 800 islands. Arrive at Adele Island, and explore this important location for breeding seabirds including the Lesser Frigatebird and the Brown Booby. Savour a Farewell Dinner with your fellow guests this evening. BLD Day 23. Disembark Cruise, Depart Broome. Your journey comes to an end today. After breakfast, disembark and be transferred to either Broome Airport or your Broome hotel.
