BLD Day 10. Myanaung. Absorb wonderful views of the Akauk Mountains and their river-facing cliff carvings as you cruise to Myanaung. Here, a guided walking tour will take you past colonial houses, a Roman Catholic church and the local market. BLD Day 11. Ainteloge. Arrive in Ainteloge today and set off on a guided walking tour, taking in colonial-style wooden houses and gardens. BLD Day 12. Danuphyu. Disembark in Danuphyu, a small town where the revered General Maha Bandula led a famous Burmese defensive against British troops during the First Anglo-Burmese War. Disembark to visit the Monastery of Maha Bandula and a home cheroot-making workshop. BLD Day 13. Maubin. Today arrive in Maubin. During a walking tour here, you'll learn about Ba Maw, a prominent Burmese political leader, and also visit the bustling local market. BLD Day 14. Yangon. Explore the sights of Yangon including Sule Pagoda and Bogyoke Market. Like a Local – visit the Reclining Buddha and marvel at the Shwedagon Pagoda at sunset, resplendent with a golden spire. This evening, enjoy a Farewell Dinner on board. BLD Day 15. Disembark Ship, Heho, Inle Lake. Your Irrawaddy cruise ends today as you transfer to Yangon airport for your flight to Heho. Upon arrival, journey by coach to Nyaung Shwe, the gateway to Inle Lake. After lunch at leisure, board your local boat and travel to your Inle Lake hotel. Visit an Indein village, catching a glimpse of farmers and buffalo on the river banks. A gentle walk will bring you to a cluster of hundreds of ancient stupas, and you'll also have a chance to shop at the local market.
