25 ROYAL TASMAN Day 5. Hobart, Salamanca Market, Freedom of Choice. This morning, explore the vibrant Salamanca Market and peruse the treasures of Tasmania at more than 300 stalls. Afterwards, select your preferred activity. You may like to walk among the treetops at the Tahune AirWalk or explore the acclaimed Museum of Old & New Art. Alternatively, take a fun tour looking at the history of alcohol in Hobart, or perhaps enjoy a historical walking tour. Then spend the rest of the day at leisure. B Day 6. Russell Falls, Cradle Mountain- Lake St Clair National Park, Strahan. Discover the magic of Russell Falls, the jewel in the crown of Mt Field National Park, then continue to the pristine, World Heritage-listed Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. Visit The Wall in the Wilderness, before travelling via the mining town of Queenstown to Strahan. Tonight, enjoy views of the harbour while dining at View 42° Restaurant and Bar. APT HIGHLIGHT! Stay: Strahan Village, harbour view room. BD Day 7. Gordon River Cruise, Cradle Mountain. After breakfast, board the luxurious Lady Jane Franklin II for a cruise along the secluded wilderness highway, the Gordon River. From the comfort of the Captain's Premier Upper Deck, glide across Macquarie Harbour and enter the Franklin- Gordon Wild Rivers National Park. Stop at Heritage Landing for a rainforest walk, then arrive at Tasmania's World Heritage-listed Sarah Island, discovering what was once a convict settlement. During the cruise, you'll be treated to a lunch of fresh local produce on board, before passing through Hells Gates and returning to Strahan. From here, set off by coach for the remarkable Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge, set right on the edge of Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. APT HIGHLIGHT!
