Day 15. Nafplio, Freedom
of Choice. Choose your preferred
activity in Nafplio. Perhaps enjoy
a walking tour of the Old Town
and Syntagma Square, or visit
the ancient sites of Epidaurus and
Mycenae. Another option is to be
guided by an ornithological expert
on a bird-watching expedition
to Nea Kios, with 160 different
species to spot during the tour. BLD
Day 16. Corinth Canal, Itea,
Delphi. Your ship will traverse
the Corinth Canal, a waterway
accessible only by small ship.
Later, arrive in the Greek port
of Itea and set off on an excursion
to the sacred site of Delphi. BLD
Day 17. Katakolon.
The fame of Olympia rests upon
the location of the first Olympic
Games. Today, you will see the
original site of the gymnasium,
stadium and palestra (wrestling
school). Afterwards, be treated
to the quintessential Greek
farm experience. Be greeted by
a Greek family and indulge in a
glass of wine before being shown
around their property. Then, at a
traditional stone farmhouse, enjoy
a sumptuous lunch accompanied
by the farm's own olive oil, tomato,
feta and oregano. Later, music
and dancing ensure an afternoon
to remember. Afterwards, return

Day 18. Syracuse. This afternoon,
enjoy a walking tour of Syracuse's
city highlights, followed by an
evening at leisure. BLD
Day 19. Valletta, Freedom
of Choice. Discover the exquisite
World Heritage-listed architecture
of Malta's capital, Valletta, then
continue on to the former capital,
Mdina. Or perhaps visit Vittoriosa
then head for Marsaxlokk to
wander the market and sample
some local produce. BLD
Day 20. Mazara del Vallo.
On the island of Sicily, arrive in
the ancient city of Selinunte within
Mazara del Vallo. Enjoy a guided
tour of the acropolis, eastern
temples and the ruins. BLD
Day 21. Cagliari, Freedom
of Choice. Enjoy a walking tour of
the ancient city of Cagliari. See the
terraced Piazza del Palazzo and the
Cathedral of St Cecilia. Otherwise,
enjoy a wine tasting at a third
generation operated family winery
and learn about the fascinating
