65 NORTHERN EUROPE Day 8. Portrush, Rathlin Island, Freedom of Choice. Arrive in Portrush, a small seaside holiday town. Discover the mystical Giants Causeway, a coastline that has intrigued artists, scientists and locals for centuries. Alternatively, head off along the coast of Antrim to Dunluce Castle. From here, visit the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery, Old Bushmills. Afterwards, cruise to Rathlin Island. BLD Day 9. Belfast. During a tour of Belfast, you'll see the Grand Opera House, Albert Memorial, the Queen's University and the Botanic Gardens. Stop at the Belfast City Hall then explore the Titanic Belfast, located where the ill-fated RMS Titanic was built. BLD Day 10. Dublin, Freedom of Choice. Arrive in Dublin Port and set off on a city tour including a visit to the Guinness Storehouse. Alternatively, visit Malahide Castle and Gardens, or enjoy a Guinness and whiskey tour. BLD Day 11. Waterford, Freedom of Choice. Drive from New Ross to Waterford to explore the Cistercian ruins at Jerpoint Abbey. Later, perhaps take a tour at the House of Waterford Crystal. Or visit Kilkenny Castle and St Canice's Cathedral before an Irish lunch at a local pub. BLD Day 12. Tresco, St Agnes. In the morning, visit the island of Tresco, admiring the coastal views and an array of wildlife. Later, discover the unspoilt island of St Agnes, as you enjoy walking along its many traffic-free paths that offer panoramic coastal views. BLD Day 13. Dartmouth, Freedom of Choice. Today, you may choose to visit Slapton Sands, the site of a tragic incident during the build up to the D-Day landings. Alternatively, embark on a tour of Dartmouth, cruise the Dart River, explore the market town of Totnes and enjoy a lovely steam train ride from Paignton to Kingswear. BLD Day 14. Guernsey, Sark, Freedom of Choice. Perhaps enjoy a tour of Guernsey, including Castle Cornet, an ancient harbour fortress. Alternatively, visit the German Occupation Museum. Then cruise to Sark, where a tractor (the only motor vehicle allowed on the island), will take you to Harbour Hill. Explore the island by horse and carriage. Visit the beautiful gardens of La Seigneurie and enjoy an indulgent afternoon tea on The Avenue. BLD Day 15. Portsmouth, Disembark Ship, London. Disembark in Portsmouth, then be transferred to Heathrow airport.
