Ellen LUND What are your plans for 2012? I'm anticipating a year of exciting new experiences and continued education within the fashion and textile industry. In early March I will be flying to Japan as one of the participants of the Hyogo Banshu Textile Exchange Program. While in Japan I will tour the Banshu textile facilities and work ELLA LUND with their texile development team to create a fabric that I designed last year. Who are you influenced by? My designs are strong but with a certain romance and sense of ease. WA women have individual style and don't always head for fads and passing trends. What are your plans for 2012? After a great reception in WA and getting several stockists, I'm hoping to gain some Eastern States stockists. I'm hopeful this will happen at the trade event Fashion Eexposed Debut in February. Later in the year I hope to be a part of Styleaid and then, of course, show at Perth Fashion Festival (PFF). It's been a tremendous journey since graduating.
