Day 1. Arrive Broome. Arrive in Broome and
be transferred to your hotel. Later, perhaps enjoy
an amazing sunset at the Sunset Bar & Grill.
Stay: Broome, Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa.
Day 2. Gibb River Road, Tunnel Creek,
Windjana Gorge. Visit the Boab Prison Tree
and continue along the Gibb River Road to
Tunnel Creek. Later, explore beautiful Windjana
Gorge and its surrounds.
Two Night Stay: EXCLUSIVE!
Bell Gorge Wilderness Lodge. BLD
Day 3. Bell Gorge. Journey into King Leopold
Range National Park, home to Bell Gorge. Take
a relaxing dip below the waterfall, then
afterwards, join a birdwatching walk. BLD
Day 4. Galvans Gorge, Manning Gorge,
Drysdale River Station. At Galvans Gorge
today, a short walk leads to a picturesque
waterhole. Continue to Manning Gorge and
enjoy lunch amongst beautiful paperbark trees.
Stay: Drysdale River Station. BLD
Day 5. Mitchell Plateau, King Edward
River, Gwion Gwion (Bradshaw Art).
Cross the Drysdale River and ascend the Mitchell
Plateau. Explore the Wandjina and Gwion
Gwion (Bradshaw Art) galleries.
Two Night Stay: EXCLUSIVE!
Mitchell Falls Wilderness Lodge. BLD
Day 6. Mitchell Falls, Helicopter Flight.
After breakfast, take a guided hike to Little
Mertens Falls to view rarely seen Aboriginal art.
Continue to Big Mertens and the mighty Mitchell
Falls. Enjoy an included helicopter flight over
the tiered waterfalls and the surrounding
wilderness back to the vehicle (or alternatively,
hike back with your guide). BLD
Day 7. Mitchell Plateau, Gibb River Road,
Home Valley Station. Rejoin the Gibb River
Road and ford the Durack River to Home Valley
Station. Experience a true Outback adventure and
see where Baz Luhrmann's 'Australia' was made.
