Day 1. Arrive Brisbane, Toowoomba. Arrive
in Brisbane and be met by your Driver-Guide this
afternoon. Board your 4WD as you head to
Toowoomba. Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Dinner.
Stay: Toowoomba, Comfort Inn Grammar

Day 2. Towoomba, Carnarvon Gorge.
Today, make your way to Carnarvon Gorge,
passing through Chinchilla, Miles and Roma.
Later arrive at your lodge for dinner.
Two Night Stay: Carnarvon Gorge
Wilderness Lodge. BLD
Day 3. Carnarvon Gorge. Enjoy a full day to
explore Carnarvon Gorge, where sandstone cliffs
form a steep-sided gorge. As Carnarvon Creek
winds through the gorge, Carnarvon fan palms,
ancient cycads, ferns, flowering shrubs and gum
trees line the main gorge. Some of the finest
Aboriginal rock imagery in Australia can be found
here, including fascinating ochre stencils, rock
engravings and freehand paintings. Later, enjoy
sensational sunset drinks at Bandana Station. BLD
Day 4. Carnarvon Gorge, Longreach.
Continue along the Tropic of Capricorn and
through the Great Dividing Range to Longreach.
Two Night Stay: Longreach,
Albert Park Motor Inn. BLD
Day 5. Longreach. Visit the QANTAS Founders
Outback Museum, then visit the Stockman's Hall
of Fame. Later, enjoy a sunset cruise on the
Thomson River, followed by a three-course
drover's dinner and a theatre show. BLD
Day 6. Longreach, Australian Age
of Dinosaurs, Winton. Visit the Queensland
Boulder Opal shop, then head to the Australian
Age of Dinosaurs exhibition for a guided tour.

Travel to Lark Quarry to visit the Dinosaur
