After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip and board your scheduled flight to Nairobi. Be met by a bus on arrival at Nairobi and then transfer to Arusha in Tanzania, with a packed picnic lunch to enjoy along the way. Arusha, Mto wa Mbu, Lake Manyara, Karatu. Today, depart for Mto wa Mbu, a small village at the base of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment, for a fascinating cultural tour. Karatu, Serengeti National Park. Embark on a game drive en route to Serengeti National Park. Ascend the Ngorongoro highlands to the Serengeti, host to the Great Migration. Special Stay – Arrive at the Kubu Kubu Tented Camp, in the central Serengeti. Relax by the campfire before dinner, then retire to your comfortable tented room with an ensuite. Today, rise early ready to head out on a full-day game drive on the Serengeti with your expert driver/tracker. Tonight, relax around the campfire back at Kubu Kubu Tented Camp. BLD Day 13. Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater. After breakfast, drive out to Ngorongoro Crater for a tour and picnic lunch. The crater hosts most of the animal species found in East Africa. Higher than Mount Kilimanjaro, it is one of the biggest craters in the world. All of the Big Five may be seen here and many bird species. After, head to Karatu to stay at Ngorongoro Farmhouse.
