Hunter River, Naturalist Island, Prince Frederick Harbour. Explore the spectacular Hunter River and the unique Naturalist Island. See Phillip Parker King's 'Nine Pin' and catch a glimpse of the local salt water crocodile population. Continue to the serene Prince Frederick Harbour, home to soaring red cliffs, green rainforest and mangroves. Later in the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner on board your elegant ship. BLD Day 18. Jar Island, Vansittart Bay. Visit Jar Island and discover the island's outstanding rock art gallery. See examples of the Kimberley's mysterious Bradshaw (Gwion Gwion) paintings, dating back some 20,000 years. Later, view the wreckage of a US Air Force DC3, which crash landed on the beach during World War II. BLD Day 19. Koolama Bay, King George River and Falls. Wake up in Koolama Bay, named after a merchant ship bombed by the Japanese in WWII. Enjoy the spectacular scenery along the mighty King George River. The highlight is sure to be King George Falls, the highest single drop falls in Western Australia. Should you be feeling more active, you may wish to embark on a trek to the top for breathtaking views and a rewarding swim. BLD Day 20. Wyndham, Freedom of Choice. Arrive in the outback town of Wyndham and embark on your choice of four amazing sightseeing activities (please note, some tours are capacity controlled and will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis). BLD Day 21. At Sea. Relax at sea as you make your way towards the Indonesian Island of Selaru. While on board, continue to take advantage of the outstanding onboard facilities of the MS Caledonian Sky, and perhaps attend an informative guest lecture. BLD Day 22. Selaru Island. Sail to the Indonesian island of Selaru. Dock in Fursui and time permitting, discover a place far removed from the outside world as you snorkel the pristine surrounding waters. This evening, farewell new-found friends as you enjoy the Captain's Farewell Cocktails, followed by a sumptuous dinner on board your ship. BLD Day 23. Disembark Ship, Darwin. After breakfast, farewell your fantastic Expedition Leader and onboard crew as you disembark your ship for the final time. You will then be transferred to either your Darwin hotel, or the airport for your onward flight home.
