44 Day 12. Lacepede Islands. Today, visit the Lacepede Islands, a series of low islands atop a platform reef. Board the Zodiacs and explore the island's lagoon, keeping an eye out for many species of marine birdlife including Australian Pelicans, frigatebirds, egrets, gulls and terns. The islands are also renowned as Australia's most significant breeding grounds for the Green Turtle. This evening, get to know your fellow travellers as you enjoy the Captain's Welcome Cocktails, followed by a sumptuous dinner on board. BLD Day 13. Buccaneer Archipelago, Talbot Bay, Horizontal Falls. Enjoy the idyllic white sands of Silica Beach before heading out through the Buccaneer Archipelago, home to more than 800 islands. Continue towards the stunning Talbot Bay, known for its massive 12-metre tides that create an amazing spectacle, the unique Horizontal Falls. Subject to tidal conditions, you will embark on an exhilarating ride through the falls on a jet boat. David Attenborough described the phenomena as "one the greatest natural wonders of the world". This is a fantastic location to keep your eyes open in the chance you may get to see some of the local Tawny Nurse Shark population. BLD Day 14. Doubtful Bay, Raft Point, Montgomery Reef. Cruise through the dramatic Doubtful Bay, with cascading waterfalls plunging into the ocean below. Explore the spectacular natural phenomenon of Montgomery Reef and watch in wonder as the reef is revealed with the falling tide. As Australia's largest inshore reef, a stunning array of marine life is on offer here. Be sure to keep an eye out for whales, dolphins, turtles, manta rays, black tipped reef sharks and dugongs, who are all known for roaming these pristine waters. Back on board, perhaps enjoy a drink before indulging in a sumptuous dinner. BLD Day 15. Hunter River, Naturalist Island, Prince Frederick Harbour. Explore the spectacular Hunter River and the unique Naturalist Island. See Phillip Parker King's 'Nine Pin' and catch a glimpse of the local salt water crocodile population. Continue to the serene Prince Frederick Harbour, home to soaring red cliffs, green rainforest and mangroves. Later in the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner on board your elegant ship.
