Transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure before a Welcome Reception tonight. Two Night Stay: The Singular Santiago. Day 2. Santiago, Freedom of Choice. Today, you have a choice of two sightseeing options, both of which include lunch. You might like to travel to the picturesque seaside city of Valparaíso. Here, embark on a tour of the World Heritage-listed Historic Quarter and, on a funicular ride, treasure views of the colourful buildings below. Alternatively, learn about the history of Chilean wine during a tour and tasting of aged wines amid the beautiful setting of Santa Rita winery. BL Day 3. Santiago, Puerto Montt, Puerto Varas. Fly south to the port city of Puerto Montt, gateway to the Chilean Lake District. On arrival, travel along the coast to the area of Pelluco, and an observation point that affords superb views of the city and its pretty surrounds. Continue to Puerto Varas, the City of Roses. Set on the shore of one of South America's largest lakes, Llanquihue, the city faces the spectacular glacier-covered Osorno Volcano. Tonight, dine at a local restaurant. Two Night Stay: Puerto Varas, Hotel Cumbres. BD Day 4. Puerto Varas, Frutillar. This morning, enjoy a half-day tour to the village of Frutillar. Drive along the Llanquihue Lake, one of the largest lakes in Chile. This pretty town is known for its wonderful gardens and German style-houses overlooking the lake. Enjoy lunch at Casa Lavender, a quaint tea house where you can enjoy delicious pastries with a cup of tea while taking in the beautiful scenery. After, return to Puerto Varas for an evening at your own leisure. BL Day 5. Puerto Varas, Lake Crossings, Llao Llao Hotel & Resort (Argentina). This morning, begin your incredible full-day lake crossing, during which you will cruise across awe-inspiring glacial lakes. Enter Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park and stop at Petrohué Falls before boarding your catamaran. As you skim over the emerald waters of Lake Todos los Santos, enjoy views of the Osorno Volcano and the peaks of Tronador Mountain. At the other end of the lake, reach the remote village of Peulla and enjoy lunch at Hotel Natura. Your lake crossing continues as you venture into Argentina and arrive at Puerto Frias to cruise across the picturesque Lake Frias. Next, head to Puerto Blest, where you'll board a catamaran for the last and arguably most beautiful lake crossing on this unique journey. As you glide over the waters and past the tiny islets of Nahuel Huapi Lake, watch as a tiny speck on the horizon grows closer until you're docking right on the doorstep of Llao Llao Hotel & Resort. Situated in pristine Nahuel Huapi National Park between Nahuel Huapi and Moreno lakes, this is one of the world's most iconic properties. Enjoy dinner this evening at Restaurant Patagonia. Three Night Stay: Bariloche, Llao Llao Hotel & Resort. BLD Day 6. Bariloche & Surrounds. Watch the scenery slip by as you cruise crystal clear waters on your way to the region's incredible natural sights and beautiful mountain villages. Arrive at Campanario Hill where you will embark on a fun chairlift ride.
