40 Visit Siem Reap's remarkable Ta Prohm Temple Day 13. Kampong Chhnang. Enjoy a small-boat excursion into the wetlands near Kampong Chhnang. After, return to your ship and cast off towards the lake of Tonle Sap. Tonight, enjoy a Farewell Dinner on board. BLD DISCOVER THE TEMPLES OF ANGKOR Day 14. Disembark Ship, Siem Reap, Freedom of Choice. Disembark and transfer to Siem Reap. Head to Angkor Archaeological Park to visit Angkor Thom, where you'll see the 12th-century temple and explore the Bayon temple. Choose where to dine this evening. Three Night Stay: Siem Reap, Hotel Sofitel Angkor. BD Day 15. Siem Reap, Angkor. Rise early and travel to the Angkor complex for a glass of champagne as you enjoy a special sunrise experience. After, tour Angkor Wat before breakfast back at your hotel. Later, explore the temple of Ta Prohm then visit 'Opportunities of Development thru Art' (ODA), an organisation that provides education opportunities for disadvantaged children. Today, perhaps visit Wat Preah Prom Rath and receive a Buddhist blessing; visit the Artisans d'Angkor workshops; participate in an Apsara dance class; enjoy a quad bike adventure; join a shopping tour; ride an elephant to Bayon; take a bicycle tour; enjoy a cooking class; or indulge in a spa treatment. B ARRIVE & EXPLORE BURMA (MYANMAR) Day 17. Siem Reap, Yangon, Embark Ship. Board your included flight to Yangon today. On arrival, be met at the airport and transferred to the Irrawaddy River where you'll board your river ship. After lunch, head back to Yangon for the opportunity to view the famous Shwedagon Pagoda at sunset. Arrive after lunch in Maubin, home to a number of universities as well as a range of significant Buddhist pagodas. Disembark for a walking tour, then visit the local market before returning to your ship. BLD Day 19. Danuphyu, Zalon. Explore Danuphyu. Later, cruise to Zalon for a trishaw tour. BLD Day 20. Myanaung. On a guided tour of Myanaung, see a range of colonial houses and wander through the bustling local market. BLD Day 21. Pyay (Prome), Sri Ksetra. On arrival in the town of Pyay, disembark for a walking tour. Later, explore the ancient ruins at the old Pyu kingdom capital, Sri Ksetra. BLD Day 22. Thayetmyo. Cruise to the pleasant port town of Thayetmyo where you'll step out to wander the streets and explore the market. BLD Day 23. Minhla, Magwe. Stop in the town of Minhla and take a small boat to visit Gwechaung and Minhla forts. Later, cruise to Magwe and head up to the Mya Tha Lun Pagoda. BLD Day 24. Salay. Cruise to the village of Salay, a colourful religious centre. Visit Yoke Sone Kyaung, the region's oldest surviving wooden monastery. Then continue to Shinbin Maha Laba Man Paya, home to the country's largest lacquer Buddha image from the 13th century. BLD Day 25. Tantkyi Hill, Bagan. Climb Tantkyi Hill to visit Tantkyitaung Pagoda. Back on board, capture your first glimpse of Bagan. BLD THE FAMED ANCIENT CITY OF BAGAN Day 26. Bagan. Enjoy a full-day to discover the Bagan Archaeological Zone, one of the world's truly awe-inspiring archaeological sites. Climb to the top of a pagoda for incredible views; explore Nyaung-U Market; visit the Ananda Temple, Shwezigon Pagoda and Gubyaukgyi Temple; and spend time at a lacquer-ware workshop. BLD Day 27. Bagan, Yandabo. Enjoy a final sunrise over Bagan then cruise to the village of Yandabo. Here, enjoy a look at village life and take in a pottery demonstration. BLD Day 28. Inwa. Arrive today in Inwa and here, enjoy a tour by horse-drawn cart. BLD Day 29. Sagaing, Mingun. In Sagaing, visit a silversmith's workshop then explore Soon U Ponya Shin and Kaunghmudaw pagodas. Later, cruise to Mingun. Here, see the second largest ringing bell in the world and Myatheindan Pagoda. BLD Day 30. Mandalay. Today in Mandalay, visit Mahamuni Buddha Temple. Then explore a range of workshops; visit Kuthodaw Pagoda; ascend Mandalay Hill; and tour Shwenandaw Monastery. Later, visit the U Bein Bridge. Enjoy a Farewell Dinner on board tonight. BLD EXPERIENCE BEAUTIFUL INLE LAKE Day 31. Mandalay, Disembark Ship, He Hoe, Kalaw, Inle Lake. On a tour of Taunggyi explore the Shan Cultural Museum, visit the market and a hilltop pagoda. Travel to the Kakku Pagoda Complex to take in the long-lost ruins of Kakku.
