Craig Foster, Chief Football Analyst and Presenter on SBS Television and former Socceroos Captain, recently flew with Rex to attend the match named in his honour: the inaugural Craig Foster Cup in Lismore. The pre-season trial match between Melbourne Heart and Sydney Wanderers marked the first time that A-League football was held on the Far North Coast. Hailing from Lismore, Craig is a strong supporter of football on the NSW north coast and supports seeing the region become a leading hub of football development. Craig's philanthropy means he has crossed paths with Rex in the past, namely when Rex sponsored the Corey New Cup. Held in Lismore, the event is played in honour of Corey New, one of four Kadina High School students killed in a car accident in 2006. Rex flew Craig back to Lismore to play in his old soccer team, the Goonellabah Hornets, for this fundraising event. Travel in Rex-tra Style!
