sheila I news The Sheila team will not forget the day we walked into a fashion agency and saw a Kym Barton dress hanging on a rack in the corner of the room. Everything else at the staring at one of Barton's signature pieces. And we weren't disappointed when the Whitehouse Institute of Design graduate showed at PFF. We love her clever cuts, draping and wonderful ONE TO WATCH use of colour. And it's not surprising that she demonstrates such craftsmanship. After graduating from the Sydney design school, she worked for FCUK London, before becoming co-designer of Sydney-based label Maise. Her work there was featured in magazines including Vogue, Frankie, InStyle and Grazia. Now based in Perth, we can't wait to see what Barton dishes up next. BEE BRIGHT, BEE BOLD, BEE ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS Nothing says Australian summer more than the humble thong and these gorgeous new Aussie designs are sure to be a hit this season. If you need more motivation to snap up a pair today, $2 from the sale of every pair of honeybees will be donated to help Australian bee research, which ultimately will help the human race. Scientists think human's would starve if it wasn't for bees. Australia is the only major country in the world that has not yet been invaded by the Varroa mite – which kills bees. Every year millions of Australian bees are shipped around the world and released into the wild. Buy a pair of honeybees thongs and you can help save the world's bee population.
