MARKETPLACE RIVER SEAL
Thordon River shaft seal was developed for commercial operators in the Mississippi river systems being a very harsh environment and is well suited to blue water operation.
The seal has its own internal inflatable bellows that can be used in maintenance requirements – allowing the wearing components to be serviced while the vessel is in the water.
NEW TRANSPONDER AND ANTENNA SPLITTER FROM LOWRANCE
Lowerance's new NAIS-400 AIS, and NSPL-400 transponder and antenna splitter integrate perfectly with their range of chartplotter/multifunction displays and VHF devices, providing safety on the water and helping boaters to see and be seen.
The NAIS-400 is a fully integrated Class-B AIS Transponder and is an essential piece of equipment for navigating busy shipping lanes and congested ports. It also has an integrated 50-channel GPS receiver and is waterproof to IPX7. The NAIS-400 can share Maritime Mobile Service Identifier number information, vessel name, call sign and type; and position, course, distance and more, from ship to ship and ship to shore based traffic stations, and position and movements of all AIS equipped vessels within range. The NSPL-400 antenna splitter allows the use of a single antenna for VHF/AIS/FM radio and operates at extremely low power levels.
The NAIS-400 and NSPL-400 will be available from end of September.
