makeup tutorial Makeup Tutorial The Smokey Eye and The Perfect Eyebrow Learn how to create the perfect eyebrow for your face and create spectacular smokey eye makeup that's fast easy and looks incredible. BROWS 101: The Basics Stand in front of the mirror. Look straight ahead. Try visualising an imaginary straight line from the base of your nose to your eyebrow. (You can also use a pencil as your line, if it helps). A) First, imagine the line (or place your Phoenix Brow Brush) straight up from the outside base of your nose to the browline – ideally, that's where your eyebrow should begin. B) Second, looking straight into the mirror, imagine the line (or place your Phoenix Brow Brush) slanting across the center section of the eye, to the right of the pupil. That's where the arch should be. C) Third, imagine your line (or place your Phoenix Brow Brush) angling even further, straight past the outer corner of the eye. That's where the end of the ideal brow line should reach. TIP: Smokey eyes do not need to be black or grey, mix it up by using dark greens and deep plums to get a smoky eye with a difference. The Smoky Eye Popular for its sexiness and versatility, the smoky eye is the look of our time and the most requested eye makeup of the decade. The key to creating a perfect smoky eye is blending. 1). You will need a kohl eye pencil, a dark eye shadow and a great blending brush. 2). Apply the pencil on your eye lid and smudge, bringing up to the crease of the eye. 3). Over set the pencil with the shadow and use the blending brush to create a powdery smoky finish.
